Common Point has developed in-line and end-of-line custom test equipment. These units are used to fully function test electronic products during the production process. The testers are based on CPTI's proprietary control bus technology and are designed to be product reconfiqureable by the user. This results in a significant cost savings for our customers.

Control system retrofits for aging but functionally acceptable machine tools are also provide by CPTI. At about 1/20th the cost of replacement, a retrofit can be an attractive alternative. Each retrofit uses state-of-the-art components and software. Our long term service contracts provide periodic component upgrades and obsolescence management.

Corporate information technology needs access to information on the factory floor without getting involved with machine tools and industrial PCs. We build the bridge between the factory floor and corporate IT. We provide this bridge in the form of our industrial information services. These services includes application development, data collection, data distribution, data processing, and data archiving systems. These methods and techniques help companies more efficiently distribute and manage plant floor data and get greater utility out of their automation investments.
